About this Webcast!
Whether you are designing a transportation vehicle, machinery, electronic products or a consumer product, you need understand the interaction between components of an assembly and multiple assemblies. The interaction between various parts dictates the load transfer between them, and the stress distribution in each component. Gross approximation of this interaction in your simulations can lead to reduced accuracy ultimately affecting performance of your designs.

In order to help users get the answers they need from simulation, MSC Nastran provides with powerful and robust contact algorithms. Because of their ease of set up and solution efficiency, contact analysis has now become a routine task for MSC Nastran users. This webinar is focused on the contact methods implemented in MSC Nastran and how you can gain insight from your simulation. You will also see the ease of contact model set up and post-processing.

Join this webcast to...

  • Learn the contact capabilities in MSC Nastran;
