Oil and Gas Industry Simulation and Test Correlation Seminar

Hear from your peers about the challenges and opportunities to deliver products faster with higher confidence!

Successful test correlation provides trust and confidence in simulation and certainty early in the design phase. Learn how others are achieving correlation for oil and gas applications like packers, risers, tubulars and accounting for a range of materials and loads.Topics covered include:

  • Influence of geometry and mesh quality on FEA results
  • Advanced Structural & Multiphysics Analysis
  • Influence of materials on part behavior
  • Dynamic System Loads

Even the most experienced engineers find difficulty achieving correlation between finite element models and physical testing. MSC Software’s innovative technologies enable engineers to account for actual material behavior, impact of manufacturing processes, and realistic system loads in order to achieve correlation with physical test and confidence in design.

Join MSC Software for a free half-day seminar on improving the accuracy of simulation in order to capture real world behavior.  These practices are CAD/Solver agnostic and enable engineers to account for correct material, part, and system behaviors in simulations.

Lunch buffet style is included.  Attendees wishing to demo products are invited to an optional hands-on session with the assistance of MSC Engineering Staff.

  • Apex          Geometry, meshing, and rapid design studies
  • Digimat      Digital Material Modeling
  • Simufact    Manufacturing Simulation
  • Adams       Dynamics System Level Loads and motions

MSC Software is a global leader in simulation, providing engineers with certainty and confidence in their designs for a wide range of applications and industries…
